So this weekend is the ARRL DX SSB contest.

The first big SSB contest since no code HF, so expect the bands to be jam packed.

Who's playing?

I'll be there. Mostly S&P. I like to see how many countries I can get.
Have fun!
Report back with...
-Station with the worst voice keyer.
-Biggest Splattard.
-Out of band on 40m.
-Fastest talker.
Just kidding....I gotta get a foot switch. I will be LP unless conditions are real bad..then kick in the ampoid.
Hope the new /AG or whatever have a huge time and work alot o them.
Be fun as hell if 10m busted WFO.
My favorite is the last 4 hours when the big 'uns are like delusional.

And then we could try to start a misfet net on say 14.210 and piss everybody off. Tell 'em we have been here since '62.
Yall have fun and work 'em til they puke.

Might play a bit, but I generally avoid the DX contests because of my puny antenna.

It's already warming up...

Not for me. I will dabble a bit in a few CW contests, but I have never been able to enjoy SSB contests.

I will, however, tool around a few hot spots on 75 meters just to hear the frequency "owners" at war with the contesters. That can provide hours of amusement!

I'm going down to the station on Saturday to play for awhile. It could be fun!
