Can I perform a mirror image on the display of the pages? This left hand business is making me dizzy. Can I put the avatars on the left like all the other forums I know of? :wall

If you change the board skin to Subsilver2 in your profile, it will look like the old generic version of this forum software. Everything will be "normal". I haven't played with the other skins yet.

I was checking yesterday, and there are only a few styles available for phpBB 3.0, which we are running here now. These php gearheads will have more available soon. Unfortunately, the nice emerald green style we ran on version 2.1 was "Jet", and it isn't available for ver 3.
There are way more smilies now. It makes you wonder what they're doing all night ... making more smilies?

I tried to delete this post but was locked out with the problem that has now been corrected. The Subsilver2 seems the least evil. Be nice to design my own. I think I f'd everything up last night when I tried the Blue Moon skin. I see it's not an option now.
British English sucks though. Do we have to spell like those crazy Brits now, with colour and centre, etc? To hell with that.
Skins and gearheads? Damn this computer crap is exciting! :dance

I've always loved phpBB. Yes, you can create your own skins, but if you have never worked with CSS or PHP before it can be quite challenging.
Here is a site that lets you make changes to some existing styles:
http://beta.colorizeit.com/index.php
If you come up with one you like, link to it here and I will install it for you.

I'm doing good with the subsilver2. It's getting used to something new that's uncomfortable.
Thanks for looking out for us.
