Spring is here with some nice warm weather...We had excellent winter rain this year and Jeannie's garden is really flourishing....The current gardens cover more than 1 acre of land...Jeannie does all the work...Taboo for us weaker males to intrude except for heavy duty digging holes or moving logs around...
Enjoy...Bob..VK3ZL..

That is really awesome, Bob. Looks like a lot of work. Out here it is all desert, and we just leave it natural. I never tire of the cactus and desert landscape. If I can get my wifes' business sold for her this coming year, she will have time to start the garden she always wanted to put in. At least an acre for vegtables, and mabe some flowers and stuff. I know what I want to plant but the cops around here do a low flyover periodically looking for such plants.
When she asks me to help her, I have to be careful, especially when digging holes. If I turn my back, even for a moment, she will try to kick me in and then have the dogs backfill the hole. She says I'm good fertilizer, but fertilizer is not the name she calls me, if you know what I mean.

Looks great, Bob. I envy you--although the climate here is fine for growing almost anything, growing a garden like that would be impractical without extensive (and expensive) irrigation because the summers are so dry. It also doesn't help that the soil in my neighborhood is very poor for gardening--about half a meter of rock-hard clay, then a subsoil that's mixture of gravel and rocks varying from the size of your fist to the size of your car. It's hard to dig in without mechanized equipment.

Very nice Bob but I prefer veggies and herbs.
