I have always presumed that the bots could not see content in the 'members only " areas . Yet this activity just observed suggests that a bot is registering . Hmmmm.

Thanks for the reply . I just observed 40 guests online , and at least one was in a members-only area .

Even if the person gets an access denied error, they appear (via the who is online form) to be browsing the restricted areas regardless of what they're actually allowed to see.. which is nothing. Barring any sort of unforeseen glitch, member only forums are restricted properly.

From a pure paranoia aspect, don't rule out the possibility that fellow Islanders could have malware installed on their computers that index the restricted parts of the site. Never ever assume anything you post online is inaccessible from the rest of the world. It's almost impossible to guarantee that.

I'm not paranoid, but they are out to get me. ;)
