View Full Version : Happy GOOD BUDDY DAY!
Breaker breaker, how 'bout it!
Today is 10-4, NATIONAL GOOD BUDDY DAY!
Tain foar? TAIN FOAR!!
A holiday to honor all them cotton pickers and duck pluckers on th' Chicken Band!
Please post your doggone suggestions on how we should celebrate this most sacred of holidays.
Here are a few ideas:
1) Close all the schools. The last thang we wanna dew is EDUMACATE anyone on a holiday honoring Chicken Band.
2) Free beer at all truck stops.
3) Suspend all rules and regulations on CB for one day. (As if anyone observes them anyhoo. HAW!)
4) For this day, and this day only, Chicken Banders can use the term "Good Buddy" to mean what it USED to mean... Not what it means now.
5) Give a break on the cotton pickin' channel to a duck plucka you HAVEN'T been giving the break to.
6) Free beer at all truck stops.
7) Hamsters will welcome, greet, and stop QRM'ing, the Chicken Banders on the low end of "Th' Cotton Pickin' Ten Meters HAM Channel."
8) Wish your opponent a "Happy Good Buddy Day" after your on-air-argument-induced fistfight behind the Burger King.
9) Free beer at all truck stops.
10) Stick a special commemorative Good Buddy Day pin through the coax of some Bucket Mouth who didn't ask for the break on the channel and stepped on ya.
Izzat a BIG TAIN FOAR??
HAW HAW HAW! HAPPY GOOD BUDDY DAY ONE AND ALL!

Hoo hoo... that's a good 'un. And I do agree that TAIN FOAR, or if space is a problem, TAINFOAR would be more appropriate.
So how are things at QFU.COM? Have they merged with Hamsexy yet? I saw where one of the bigwigs from Hamsexy made some smug, self-righteous speech about what a naughty, ill-behaved boy I was. Oh for SHAME!
Haw!
Out.

An awful lot of wacker codes there. I can just see the antenna farm on 4 wheels pull up with the red and blue bubble light flashing.

BREAKER BREAKER!
And remember that 10-100 is divided into 10-100-1 and 10-100-2.
The above list should be on every NCT exam. The one thing I can NOT abide by is hearing NCTs use 10 codes improperly on the 2 meter FM repeaters! Seems the ARRL should be behind this effort, now that they can relax after successfully killing BOTH the Novice ticket and the evil Code Requirement.
TAIN FOAR? I'M BACK QUIET! Screeeeeeeeeeeeee Bee-Boop!
10-99 Ma'am? I am ready to receive.....
