I shot this image on Monday, July 5, 1965 at the top of the Zugspitze on the German border with Austria.
No hot dogs and beans that year; it was bratwurst and red cabbage.
Wow, great shot. Not traditional maybe, but you just got me thinking about tonight's dinner.
Love Brats and Cabbage.

I'm going to the mountains on Tuesday, after the holiday madness mellows out.

Here is a shot of the actual thermometer on the Zugspitze that afternooon. Don't want to leave the beer on the back porch over night.
For some reason, this post did not work. The shot of the thermom disappeared and the same one that was uploaded before was inserted? Go figure. Now I can't even delete the post. What gives?

I have some pictures of my nieces throwing snowballs on the Zugspitze in June. Somewhere. It's ALWAYS cold up there. Nothing like seeing Europe on the GI plan.

and I thought it was just me.....perhaps you don't rate enough my brother?
My "this board sucks" of last week or so was greeted with some things about my meds... ha, ha,
There are other sinister aspects to this entity, not the least of which is constant manual exercise of -, etc.
