I need a solution to a SWR meter problem....
I am using a HS motorized antenna on my Envoy, the antenna is connected to an IC706m2g, and I hit the tune button on the HS controller until the built in SWR meter indicates a low SWR...
sounds like a working plan, except, I do not trust the built in meter! After tuning, I sometimes need to tap the controller for best receive...
SOOOO, I have been thinking about building a simple, ANALOG, meter. Something where I can put the sensor at the radio or the antenna, and the meter up where I can see it.
Does anyone know of a good schematic or a Far Circuits board number?
