I picked up a 12 pack of 12 oz bots of Pils Urquell 2 days ago. It's so folkin good....only one month old. It must be only 2 weeks off the boat. This beer is one that has to be fresh to be at it's best. Yum! I can't stop drinking it. Have to get more. :D

I know that down by Austin was a lake called Lake Travis. Seemed that the water was pretty alkaline down by the dam there.

Why do you bring that up, Mike? Alky Dam?

Pils Urquell is a beer you have to develop a taste for...it took me 30 years to really take to it. It's flavors are funky to say the least. SAB Miller bought them out and they date the beer 6 months out. This batch I bought is dated 021908 which should mean it was bottled 6 months before feb 19 08.
