I'm not attending the hamfest but I've attended the NC State Fair and that is a big building. The website says all tables soldout, so it should be a good one. Have fun.

It sounds interesting but for the distance I could get to the beach.

I'm really wondering if I'll see many of the same vendors that were at Charlotte.

I think I am going to limit myself to Breezshooters (Butler PA), Shelby, and Dayton from now on. Hamfests really disappoint me more each year and it is not that attendance is down. In fact it seems that attendance is up but the amount of vendors keep getting lower and lower. Not to mention the amount of gear let alone good gear is becoming scarce. Aside from the usual OM that has an endless supply of older rigs (there is always one) that is always nice to see. But in the end I will continue to go because I get to see people that I would otherwise only get to hear on the radio.

As for this particular one, I shan't be there.

Sad to say I will not. :(
My older sister is graduating from KU that Sunday, would much rather see that than go to Dayton.
